My life sucks these days. It is the usual driving back and forth from my home in KL to Sunway area (my office). I can't imagine how someone could stand being in the rat race for like until he or she retired. Anyway, this morning while driving to work, I saw this motorcycle in front of me and I was laughing my head off when I saw it. By the way, my brother who is working together with me took this pic while cruising on the LDP Highway just after the Putra LRT Kelana Jaya.

Can you spot something similar on the picture?

Have a nice day..

Microsoft Mobile & Embedded DevCon 2005 Event

Last Thursday, I went to another event (as always) and this time it's about Mobile Devices Development. It was held at the new KLCC Convention Centre. The place is huge and considered World Class. PC Fair this August is going to be held there, I'm certainly going then. Anyway, I paid RM50 to attend last Thursday Convention. So as usual, some shot and brief stories down below:

This is a special feature of the Convention, a hands-on lab. For the 1st time I'm doing programming using Visual Studio for a Smart Phone Application. It was really a mind exhausting session for me but I think I can cope with it.

This is what I love about convention, they give you freebies, bag and a few free stuff. I got a Microsoft Visual Studio DVD free, it came bundled with MS SQL and Outlook 2003.

Next week I have another event but I'm not really sure I'm going or not. BTW, I was just about to develop a marketing plan for my own business when a friend of mine suddenly gave me a lead for a website development business. I happily took it and I've made an appointment with the person in charge. So wish me luck on my 1st business appointment, hopefully I would get a deal after my presentation.

So much is happening around my life these days. However I hope for some more dramas and actions. Cheers..

Beauty lies in the eye of the beholder. I guess everyone likes to look at beautiful things, right? In this entry I want to introduce a few beautiful peoples in my family circle. I will not reveal their names but I will state their age and some information I have on them:

This is one of my aunt, she's a teacher. She's one of my favourite actually. Enough about her, let's move on to next one.

Now this is my aunt's (above pic) daughter. If I am not mistaken, she's in form 2. She's very cute, also one of my favourite.

Image hosted by Photobucket.com

On the left is her little sister. Not sure about her age. Beside her is her cousin. I wonder how will they look when they grow up..Mmmm..

Image hosted by Photobucket.com

Okay..this is my father's cousin. She works as a beautician. She has her own beauty salon and I think she has a few advertisement in some local women magazine. She's a very good looking woman entrepreneur. I adore her very much.

Image hosted by Photobucket.com

Also my father's cousin. A petite careerwoman but she's married now..hehe..

Image hosted by Photobucket.com

This would be my closest cousins. They live in Kota Damansara and they're both a student.

Image hosted by Photobucket.com

Another cousin of mine, I don't really know them very well but they're nice looking girls. They live in Taman Melawati and they are both student in a local university/college.

One of my favourite person to watch. If I'm not mistaken, she's 22 years old. Just finished studying at Cenfad. I'm not really close to her but I wish I could..hehe..

Image hosted by Photobucket.com

That's her younger sister. Still studying in high school. Really sweet.

This is the first time I ever saw her. I heard that she's engaged now and she recently acted in a few local drama series. I haven't seen her on TV yet but she's a beauty alright. I'll try to find out about her someway later on...

All the cropped snapshots above were taken during my grandpa's wedding celebration which was held last Saturday. I was there the whole day to serve the guest who came. Interesting how my grandpa who is 76 years old this year got married to a 50 years old virgin. He's so DAMN lucky..haha..Till next time..

Last week, I got an e-mail by Jobstreet.com and they are promoting a talk titled 'Who says U can't speak English?'. I was thinking, it'll be interesting to see what the speaker, a Malay corporate woman has to say about it. So I went to KTAR City Centre right next to the Citibank Building and attend the talk. It's surprising to see many people who already have a job (including me and 2 of my friends) attending. Then the seminar starts...

30 minutes later, I found the talk was boring. So, I chatted with my friend until 2 girls behind me gave me a note to shut up. I continued chatting with my friend in writing mode but still waited until the speaker finishes. I think Jobstreet.com talk isn't the kind of talk I was looking for. BTW, there's a reality event if you could see on the paper I'm holding above, it's called 'The Job Idol'. Its actually an event where someone will get hired by some big corporate entity but they must first pass a series of test and interview in front a live audience. If I'm not mistaken, it'll be held at Maju Junction, Jalan TAR just next to Bangunan MARA and Pertama Complex. If you stand a chance, then get over there and try your luck.

Yesterday, I went to another event which was held at Sheraton Subang. For those of you who are into IT, they're going to love this one.

Image hosted by Photobucket.com

Now this is an event I am truely passionate about. Since I'm working in a small business environment, so this event is really relevant to what I'm doing. Did you know that in Malaysia there are over 364,000++ Small & Medium Business SMB's). It's basically consist of 1-99 person in a company. Mine is just 4 person so we're small enough. It's a huge market to tap here and I want a piece of it.

Image hosted by Photobucket.com

The event was really interesting with lucky draw where you can win wireless routers and the main prize, an O2 XDA Mini. Unfortunately, I didn't win anything but I gained a few extra knowledge and triggered a few business idea for myself and my company. I hope my enthusiasm will last longer this time around..hehe..

The above is a few Microsoft products and how they are structured roughly. Next week, I'm going for another on in KLCC Convention Centre and I really looking forward to it as I need to pay RM50 for the entrance alone. . I have a few more technology events until the end of this month alone. So be sure to visit my blog again some other time next week. Anyone of you interested to join, I'll see what I can do but only if you're serious enough. Cheers..

Microsoft .NET Drop In Day Event

Yesterday, I went to Microsoft Office Day Out Seminar at Sunway Pyramid Convention Centre. There were like hundreds of corporate companies and thousands of people attending it. Since I am using Microsoft Office quite intensively, it's interesting to know that there are tons of hidden tools and capabilities that the regular Microsoft Word and Excel has and I've never even bother to utilise it. I admit that when you are competent in Microsoft Office Application, you are very high in demand for the job market. So, not that I'm promoting Microsoft, but I would agree in the efficiency and time saving in completing the office task that Microsoft Application would be able to offer if you are trained for it. Check out their website for more info:

Today, I went to another Microsoft event. It's called The Microsoft .Net Drop In Day. This time, it was held at the HQ of Microsoft itself on Level 29, KLCC Tower 2. Take a look at my picture taken by the speaker O2 XDA Smart Camera Phone.

You can also click on the picture to see my picture on his Moblog. Amazing how technology works. See down below what he teaches during the session.

I have no idea what .NET framework is as I've never been in a formal programming class before.

Hey look! It's a Pocket PC PDA emulator on the display. Cool stuff..

The podium of Microsoft Auditorium

During the end of the briefing, the speaker encouraged us to attend a the Microsoft Mobile & Embedded Developers Conference 2005 this 16th June at KLCC Convention Centre. For more info about that click here.

Enough of promoting. I guess better leave it to them as they are the one making money out of it. Moving on to a few other shots taken:

The Japan GT Promotion. I'm no more a racing buff but I do love watching racing cars in action live in Television.. ;-)

That's about it for this time. I'm going to another seminar for Microsoft Small Business Server Seminar next week. Suddenly I felt like a pro in the IT world, haha..I am still wondering why the heck did I chosed the wrong course during my university years. Hope you guys don't make the mistake that I've made.

Happy reading..
