I haven't fiddle with my account for almost 3 days now. It seems like the loss I've experience has been improved to about 0.17% thank to the improvement of the Small Cap Fund. However the Dana Dinamik has decrease by 0.02 percent. I still haven't figured out what to do with my reserve cash yet. I'll buy a few more other funds before I apply for another account to fund another type of portfolio next month.

I recovered almost 10% of my lost by buying the Small Cap Fund. It seems as the small cap fund is a strong fund to focus on. Hopefully the economy would fluctuate badly this time of the year. I'm keeping track of the latest market news from newspapers and current affairs in the country. What I need to do now is to learn more about this game and how do I utilize it.

If you are interested to know more about myself, you can surf around on my other blog which is a bit private by clicking here.

A week has past and now comes the fasting month for muslim. It's kind of an advantage for me since fasting added some more free time in term of my productivity time. The past few days were very busy days, however I did manage to organize some of my fund for the game I'm playing. The result wasn't showing anything impressive and I've lost quite a large number of my money. Take a look at the screenshot below:

By the way, the reason I name it Totalwealth because the company I'm working with, actually organize a wealth education course called The Totalwealth Makeover. Since I'm one of the graduate, so I took pride to name it as my portfolio's name. Either way, I hope the next coming week should show some surplus in conjuction of my 23rd birthday. Keep an eye for this page ver very soon.

Today, something amazing happen to me. I was just about to read and study more about the game I'm playing when suddenly my phone rang. It was from someone I've never even met or heard of but he insisted of making an appointment with me. Apparently I found out that he got my number from one of my best friend and he wanted to show some financial product from Prudential (I'm being straight here by stating the company's name).

Since I'm already making an appointment with one of Prudential financial planning agent, I did some research over the net to see how Prudential performance and credibility. They were quite good since they rank 2nd in life insurance sales when I last checked it. The company was also long established and have a good track record. The appointment was made at a local 'mamak' restaurant. The agent, Mr. Lye was a good looking person and I had no problem communicating with him. Basically I was already sold before the presentation started but either way, I need to know all the details about the product he's offering. The product was a life insurance linked with investment plan. I was indeed looking for a medical and life insurance at that time since I was at risk of accident every single day because I ride a motorbike to work.

The man had a good selling skill and I finally signed on the dotted line. This means that I now have a nest for my long term plan plus a medical benefit and a life insurance but it doesn't stop here. I remembered about the 1st chapter in Robert G. Allen's Multiple Stream of Income book which stated about the power of compound interest. I'm finding out ways to create another financial nest for my short and mid-term financial success. For this purpose, I guess I need to seek more information from printed materials and meeting more people who are an expert in financial planning.

In the mean time, I'll read some other materials regarding the game I'm playing. Happy Planning!

For almost a month I haven't write anything on this blog. I've been concentrating on my other blog on a very well known website called the X-Fresh. It's basically a teen community portal however, I like to feel young by being friends with younger people.

Anyway, I have a new mission right now. Recently, I registered to participate in an Investment game done by a local magazine called Personal Money.

In this game, I am given RM100,000 to invest in unit trust. I don't even understand what unit trust is, I normally heard of it but I've never actually do anything about it. So, right now I'm educating myself about personal finance by voraciously reading a lot of material about it. I have a long way to go plus, I've changed my blog name from idrusz to ashrufzz.blogspot.com since I'm using ashrufzz as my display name in the game. Therefore, I'm dedicating this blogpage as my journal where I'll record every step I've taken for the game I'm playing.

Wish me luck in this astonishing endeavour. ;-)
